What is happening to Minneapolis these days? Jeez. Steve Marsh has some details on local restaurateur Thom Pham's attack:

...broken eye socket, concussion, gashes and bruises on his face. [...] he was getting into his car when he was hit in the head with a brick. He managed to get away down an alley, and then one of the thugs hit him from behind with a 2×4.

TP left Temple, drove to Azia. Parked in the lot next to Anemone. Got out of car, got jumped, and whacked with a stick. Tried to make a run for it... blocked in my another van with a 2nd group of people. Running, trying to evade 6-8 people. Gets tackled. Dude goes to hit him with a brick, TP grabs his arm, slows it, so he doesn't get slammed with brick, it just drops on his head. Then someone drives by Nicollet, slows down after seeing the craziness, and the men scatter.
