Long story. Good news is that my next checkride will basically just consist of a couple takeoffs and landings.

At 4:00 my entire company goes to Target, gets $20 worth of stuff and then leaves.

I’ve been needing to do some tests at work on our Canon imagePROGRAF W8400 and Bill had a fantastic file he built for himself from Google Maps tiles of the greater Twin Cities metropolitan area. I still haven’t figured out all the problems with the RIP software we are using, but the test that did work looks great! It’s over 130mb at 42″x42″, 150dpi.

Planning a cross country trip to Aberdeen, SD, a photo of a purple plane and checking the fluids and instruments on the plane I’m flying tomorrow. More photos on Flickr.

Some people have asked why I haven’t posted much lately. Well, for two examples, I’ve been really busy with work and preparing for my checkride on Monday morning. I took today off to study, clean the house up a bit and to catch up on some bills and paperwork.

My commute into work eastbound from Minneapolis to the suburbs featuring a very pronounced parhelion.

Learning why I should wire it properly the first time.

My friend Sara calls this evening to tell me that I’m in the film An Inconvenient Truth. Why didn’t anyone else tell me? I guess they cut out the shot of me taking a photo with Al Gore.

I haven’t spent the time to clean my basement fully since I moved in. Now my weekend project is complete. Nadia enjoyed rolling around on the freshly swept concrete.
