Totally Scrabble Tuesday

3 Seasons Drive-In Restaurant, Mahtomedi, MN

I used to bike here when I was young. See Bill’s writeup of our lunch at the 3 Seasons Drive-In.

The Flaming Lips at the Minnesota State Fair

I’ve seen over twenty Lips shows in North America and Europe and this was certainly one of the best. It is amazing walking away with such a huge crowd of people that are all overjoyed. One of the best nights I’ve had in a long time. See my photos on Flickr.

Sonic Youth at the Minnesota State Fair

The Show Will Go On

Thunderstorm cleared, tornados avoided us and the show will go on. Everyone in rain gear waiting for Sonic Youth and the Flaming Lips at the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand. Out with Bo and Matt, ran into Josh, Rob, Pierre, Ben Jesse… Dave and Kyle giving rock hands 6 or so rows in front of us… should be a good show.

State Fair Madness

Here with Bo and Matt. In a short period of time it changed from light rain to a thunderstorm and strong winds. I wonder if we will get to see the Flaming Lips. I hope they don’t cancel!

Secret Roof Tour

Teresa and I report no hail unlike some other places in the metro.

Town Talk Diner, Minneapolis, MN

#17. With Bo Hakala. Sangria, then Old Fashioned with Jim Beam Black Label.

Cork Hallway

Our cork hallway at work just got redone with case studies printed on our new wide format printer.

Maplewood Nature Center

Teresa, Jasper and I visiting our geocache in Maplewood Nature Center. Someone logged that they left a toothbrush and toothpaste in the cache so we came to remove the toothpaste. To our surprise, the toothpaste was fake. Ha.
