Out at Psycho Suzi’s for Bo’s birthday. April 10th is some sort of magical day as I know a ton of people that have it as a birthday - my sister included. Hopefully getting together with her later this week.

Perfect day to be out wandering around the park. Highlight was some crazy awesome bocce ball with our unlikely new pals from another camp site: Residence Hall Staff from Northwestern College. Another treat was walking to Nevers Dam down a passage surrounded by a enormous choir of frogs. At night we learned an easy song thanks to our neighbors that went like “¡Alabaré, alabaré, alabaré a mi Señor!” that we shouted back and forth between our campsite and theirs until the people between us told us to be quiet. We polished off a ton of beer, cider, liquor and a gallon of gross Chianti that went around the campfire until it was gone, all of which is illegal in Minnesota State Parks. As this is pretty much the last time Rob enjoys his bachelorhood before he and his fiancée get married in a few weeks, we got him properly inebriated to garner some great stories that will technically stay at the park.
