Joe’s New Cingular 8125 Pocket PC

Yet another Windows device that “does everything” and “has all the features” but is an absolute pain in the ass to use. The IM client he was using, AgileMessanger, is a bad joke. I can’t imagine using it on a regular basis. I’d go nuts. We couldn’t get the device to properly connect to our WiFi network and the setup interface was buggy. Joe was swearing at a dialog box that refused to go away regardless of which option he picked. Working with the device is very slow and not intuitive. The keyboard layout wasn’t very friendly. Even though I complain when Danger screws up their stuff, I would still prefer to use a 2002 model hiptop.

Downtown and Back

Working from Home

After watching a truck try to go down my street, I decided to make sure I wait until it is plowed. Not often I get to use the conference call feature on my hiptop.

Unpacking the MacBook Pro

After two days out of the office, this was an exciting way to return to work.

Fresh and Natural Foods, Hudson, WI

Went across the river to visit my sister at the new Fresh and Natural Foods in Hudson. She’s the Front End Manager and as been working a lot of hours lately getting the store opened. I got carried away and filled a cart full of groceries. So much good stuff, and it’s neat to have a real natural and organic foods store in Western Wisconsin. Go there and say hi to Amy Jo.

Mortimer’s, Minneapolis, MN

Out with Bo, Sarah and her boyfriend Matt.

Clicquot Club Cafe, Minneapolis

When I got to the counter I was asked, “Are you the guy with the blog?”

Heh. Owned.

He later added that they’d get my pizza out faster this time. And it did come out faster, and it tasted better than the last time I was here. I like the Clicquot Club Cafe. Come out here and bring your friends… and blog about it because they pay attention. :-)

Town Talk Diner with Bill and Kim

Out again here for the second time this week, this time with Bill and Kim. This time I decided to let Bill write about our time at the Town Talk Diner.

Sun Ray Lanes, Saint Paul, MN

Co-worker Nick won a few free games so we decided to bowl 10 frames over lunch. I won 150-116. Interesting clients they have here over a weekday lunch.
