Blinky Lights
I haven’t done any speed tests yet, nor do I really care to, but our new gigabit switch has 97 blinky lights. Awesome!

Ben and I wandered down to suburban hell to meet up with Bill and Kim. Ben says “we are here for the music,” and Bill asks, “where’s Dean?”
Herb’s Birthday Party
Herb is a cat. He rocks.
G5 Upgrade
Upgrading a user from a 450mhz G4 running 10.3.9 to a dual 2.3GHz G5 machine running 10.4.2. All of her files, settings, applications and everything else need to match her old machine exactly. Thankfully, I can let the computer do all that work for me so I can have a snack.
Work I did: Start old machine in Target Disk Mode. Plug it into the new machine via Firewire. Put Pop-Tart in toaster oven and eat. Almost done!
