Out with Brian and skholla.com poster Walter who is in for the long weekend. He brought his cousin as well. Enjoyed a bottle of Delerium Nocturnum and a bottle of Trois Pistoles… and something else - it escapes me.

It’s actually a double rainbow and it’s one of the most vivid I’ve seen. There are people pulled over on the side of the road just to look at it. These shots taken out of my car.

Visiting the geocache I manage out here. Nabbed the travel bug and put in a new log book and pencils.

Andrew Bujalski’s debut feature showing at the Oak Street Cinema, Minneapolis. Funny Ha Ha was very humorous and had a realistic and raw feel. The lighting, sound and cinematography made it almost feel like a documentary. That aside, the acting and dialogue was very elegant: the nervousness and awkwardness of most of the scenes were vivid and true. Quite a unique film. If it comes around in your neighborhood, check it out.

Updating the File Management and Organization Standards. Quite exciting stuff.

….featuring the Flaming Lips. Q&A afterwards with the producer and editor who are local here in Minneapolis. They also brought in filmmaker Bradley Beesley via mobile phone for the Q&A.

Going to see the Flaming Lips documentary "Fearless Freaks" at the Fine Line Music Cafe in downtown Minneapolis. Train drops me off at Cedar-Riverside saying it’s the last stop, which is half way there. So now I am stuck here and I don’t see another train coming. Doors opened 15 minutes ago now…
