The Get Sauced Event

Office Owange

Co-worker Nick saw me fill up my car with washer fluid this morning. The next thing he sees when he gets back to his desk is his tiny trash can filled up by an empty container of washer fluid. He removes it and throws it somewhere else. An hour later, he finds his trash can filled again with an empty gallon jug of apple juice with "Aaron" written on the cap (the juice was great!).

For some reason that’s gone now so now he gets 9 empty boxes of Microsoft Office 2004.

Meow Cat from Katamari Damacy

This is the Meow Cat from Katamari Damacy. I was first introduced to this crazy PS2 game by friends in New York. Basically the game makes sense if you are not sober: The king of all cosmos gets drunk and screws up the stars. He sends his little 5cm tall prince to fix everything. To do this, the prince takes a Katamari (which is like a sticky ball) and rolls over everything to pwn it. The ball gets larger as you pwn more things, which means you can then pwn larger things, such as this Meow Cat. It’s a game devoted to ownage.

It is very addictive and has a soundtrack that sticks in your head for days.

Check out one of the original commercials for the game at waxy.org or see a gameplay video. You can even make your own papercraft Meow Cat like I did.

Wines From Last Night

Lauren and I had a Pinot kick after seeing the film Sideways.

Goodchild Vineyard: Steele Pinot Noir 2002

Fetzer Vineyards: Five Rivers Ranch Pinot Noir 2003

Ended up going to sleep very early.

Mall of America

Lauren and I tried to help Bill and Kim escape a company party at the Mall of America. Instead, we ended up getting unlimited rides at Camp Snoopy (see wrist bands!). All was well until we were on the Log Chute and we got Lauren totaly soaked. So instead of saving Bill and Kim, we ended up hunting down a new pair of pants. In the end, we met up for drinks at Jillian’s. Drinking at the Mall of America is good to do maybe once a year - just because you can or if there is a specific reason to do so - and now I can check that off for 2005.

Our business depends on high quality color outputs, and people freak out when our machine is down. Pictured is Larry saving the day.
