I’ve been meaning to switch the locks on my doors for a couple reasons now: The old locks had been there through two previous owners of my house, the deadbolts were keyed on both side (pain in the ass - shouldn’t need to use the key if I am inside), and I wanted the deadbolt and the doorknob on my back door to use the same key. After an expensive trip to Home Depot I spend my evening with a Summit Winter Ale and a Phillips Screwdriver. Now onward to fixing my new door I made for the room upstairs…

Pwnt the Model Home

While Garrett was signing the papers for his purchase agreement, his sister Theresa and I decided to totally pwn the model home. Broke some plates, stole the lemonade, wine, soup, a rare painting and some other stuff. Smashed up the little boy’s room, used the shower, left something nasty in the bathroom and otherwise made ourselves feel at home! Couldn’t be too loud, though: they were signing everything downstairs.

My Christmas Eve

Played Poker. Played the guitar. Wrapped some gifts. Replaced my shower piping and shower head. Did laundry. Had a shot of Jägermeister. Fed the cats. Chatted with some friends.

Left to do:

Wrap rest of gifts. Finish Laundry. Do dishes. Take out trash and recycling. Get car wash. Go to work for a few hours to swap backup, fix a weird printer and change some phone system stuff. Buy a dessert to bring to my aunt’s tonight. Find a geocache with my cousins. Visit relatives at my aunt’s house. Lastly, meet up with my mother and stepfather for a candlelight church service at 23:00.
