Dallas and Daphne are American Longhair litter-mates that lived in Edina in 2004 and have lived in Minneapolis since 2005.
They are not outdoor cats but recently Daphne escaped and Dave had to chase her all over the block and behind other houses. He could not catch her until she was distracted by a squirrel.
They like it when the bathtub faucet is turned on and they’ll drink the running water. They also have the laser pointer as their preferred toy.
Generally well mannered except Daphne is grumpy sometimes. They’ve killed several mice and always leave the mice in the same spot on the dining room floor.
Dallas and Daphne live with Dave who works at Target Corporation and is the Chair of the 5th District DFL. On the side he’s also an amateur photographer and active with numerous volunteer and political projects.
