You missed the best pizza in Louisville…Spinelli’s! It’s in the Highlands. They serve NY-style pizza (big delicious floppy slices) and it is by far my favorite pizza in town, and you won’t find many people who disagree. Plus, the beers are cheap too. God I wish I lived in their delivery range so I could order it right now.

I highly recommend Sportstime Pizza/New Albanian Brewing company to those in the Louisville area looking for great pizza and a huge, well-chosen selection of beer. They even brew their own now. Sportstime is, as the name suggests, more of a sports bar type atmosphere, whereas next door you will find a cozy pub atmosphere. Sportstime is just a short drive across the river from Louisville.

You should’ve gone to Chubby Rays in J-Town….it is a sports bar but the food is pretty darn good too. The pizza is always delicious and it’s a great atmosphere, new booths with t.v.s at each one and never a bad angle to watch a game or two. They also have a website where you can get coupons, http://www.chubbyrays.com The staff is extremely friendly and flexible, we have shown up with 20 or more people and they always are congenial to making sure we are taken care of. I had the Edmund Fitzgerald Porter when I was in Michigan. It was good enough, for a porter. Maybe in thirty years we’ll have a 35W Double Bock, or a Katrina Light.
