Tim-

You reminded me of a flight I did from Winona to Lake Elmo... on the way back some small plane, from my point of view, looked like it was cruising down the river! Very low and riding down the river going south near Afton. I was wondering what the heck it was doing so low. Legally, if it is 500 feet away from any person, vessel, vehicle or structure and can safely make an emergency landing if his engine fails, he's okay. Let's assume he can make an emergency landing on water. Even then, if a plane was coming the other way it is a bit tight. There's power lines and shit down there too. Not for me. Either way, we can still do a safe flight over the Saint Croix that'll still be great for your camera.

And now that I have my PPC you should introduce me to your father. ;-)

Yah, I looked at twitter.. - it gave me a headache..

I'd prolly join you for a ride this summer, if not before over the Croix if you can get a hi-wing so I can shoot some photos, or just go up period, as I have little chance to ever ride with my father in his Experiemental.

I wonder how exactly you are supposed to use it if you consider Jenni to be using it improperly?

As you said, don't use Dodgeball as if it was Twitter. Dodgeball is meant for real check-ins to real venues. It's not meant to notify everyone (who may or may not be your friend) that you are located in your friends car, I-94 in WI, or that Aaron is mean for keeping the database clean.

They had been asked nicely to use Twitter or to cut out the incorrect behavior on Dodgeball and they persisted. The problem is that other people, because of their large social group using the site, learned their incorrect behaviors and started using the site as such.

I've noticed that I started leaning towards using Dodgeball in a Twitter-like fashion, and I've vowed to immediately cut that out.

1. The interview was "interesting".

2. Dodgeball, mostly because it doesn't work as intended but also because of many individuals who don't want to use it properly, sucks in Minneapolis/St Paul.

I was happy to be one of the many to drop Dodgeball and rid myself of those annoying SMSs. It only took two days for me not to care where everyone had lunch the day before.

You not having to check-in to venues is probably why the Nokia is ok. Otherwise, you wouldn't be able to send Dodgeball the SMSs and it would be a pain to T-9 all those.

3. I tried to offer you a Gnome of mine. You didn't want it :( Receiving stolen property is a crime though.

4. Glad to see something here -- I was getting worried.
