Absentee voting is like a drive-thru coffee shop. You still get the job done but miss the face time. I met a few new neighbors this morning in Little Canada. I also ended up using an open table since all the booths were full with a 5-10 wait.

This year I voted absentee as I will be out of the country on Election Day. And by "out of the country" I mean Canada but that still counts.

Voting absentee certainly was convenient, but in hindsight I feel I missed out on the camaraderie created by voting with your neighbors.

The park building I went to in Seward was full, but things were moving quickly. 300+ ballots cast by 8:20. Thats about 4 people per minute feeding a ballot into one machine, which seems pretty solid.
