Their online renewal has been down for months due to weak security so I had to physically go to a deputy registrar and pay in cash. For my Mini in Minnesota it’s $103.50 this year.

WTF? Mine is a 2002 Saturn SL worth less than 1/3 of your car yet my tags cost $113.00 last year.
Man, I *LOVE* paying MORE tax on a far more inexpensive car.

https://www.paymentchek.com/hennepin_auto/autotab.aspx
It might also be possible in other counties, but who would live any other county besides Hennepin, anyway?
